Those hoping to see Bradley Beal in a new uniform where he actually has a chance to compete for a title might finally get their wish.
According to a new report from NBA insider David Aldridge, Beal is finally open to a potential trade. However, his preference is to remain with the Washington Wizards for the long haul.
“For the first time in a long time, sources close to Beal indicate he’s not rejecting out of hand the notion of trade elsewhere — even though his preference is to remain with the Wizards,” the report read.
Fans took to social media after the report emerged and gave their respective takes on the situation. More than a few fans don’t think he’s leaving the Wizards any time soon.
“He ain’t going anywhere. He wants that super max,” one fan said.
Other fans think it’s time Beal and the Wizards went their separate ways.
“Just leave bro. Please. We love you. But it’s time for a rebuild on our end and time for you to join a contender,” another fan said.
Another fan named two possible locations for Beal in a potential trade.
“Its been long enough. Wall n Beal took em to the 2nd round. So they had success. But its time the boy been putting in work to no avail for awhile now. The Hawks should get in on him or maybe my Pacers,” one fan said.
