It isn’t often when most people give a grade of F.
Thanks for your responses to this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey Washington Mystics fans. Here are the results.
This week, over 300 respondents answered the one question to grade head coach Eric Thibault’s performance. The results were clear, with 55 percent of respondents giving him a grade of F. An additional 27 percent gave him a grade of D. That is a combined 82 percent of respondents.
Don’t even recall a Wizards @sbnreacts survey where the majority of respondents gave an F…. pic.twitter.com/ez9iRFfttc

The obvious reason why fans are giving poor grades is because of the Mystics’ 0-7 start (at the time the survey was available. Today, Washington is 0-8 (and that doesn’t include two preseason losses). This Mystics team has yet to experience any kind of win against outside competition together! That has to be draining on the players.
And even though the Mystics are rebuilding (as they should), they also have the talent to win many of these eight games they lost, where the outcome of the game would be decided in the fourth quarter.
I am concerned that the Mystics could soon be in a position where they may match or exceed their longest losing streak in franchise history. They lost their last 13 games in the 2012 season from Aug. 21, 2012 until May 27, 2013 when then-head coach Mike Thibault won the season opener. Whether that mark of futility happens or not, this season may not just look like a lottery bound campaign. It could be a lost one too, not unlike the aforementioned 2012 season.
