Things are trending up with the Wizards, even if the offseason is otherwise going very quietly.
Thank you for your responses to this week’s SB Nation Reacts Washington Wizards survey. Here are the results!
Wizards fans are happy with getting the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft
Not surprisingly, most Wizards fans feel good about getting the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. pic.twitter.com/CYvmzBvRkr

We asked one question this week about your reaction to the Wizards’ draft lottery selection. A combined 66 percent said that they felt excellent (36 percent) or good (30 percent) about the news. An additional 17 percent were relieved (happy it wasn’t worse) and 12 percent felt indifferent (meh). Only five percent expressed disappointment (wondering why the Wizards couldn’t get the No. 1 pick).
Overall, I feel good about the draft lottery result.
Who should the Wizards pick at No. 2?
Gabe Ibrahim wrote previously about Alex Sarr, who could be the top pick in the draft. But there’s a good chance that the Atlanta Hawks will select him.
So to that end, Matt Modderno wrote about several prospects whom Washington may consider for the No. 2 pick if Sarr is off the board.
Also, check out this recent X poll where Stephen Castle was the consensus pick who stood out in this particular group.
Now that its been about 48 hours since we found out where the Wizards are picking, which prospect stands out to you?

Finally, if the Wizards can get another first round pick who is in the lower end of the lottery range, who would you pick? The X poll is below.
Thanks to everyone for their feedback! Castle is the favorite but ZR gained traction during the process. Let’s change it up a bit for the next poll! If the Wizards land a 3rd first round pick (i.e. 10-15 range), who stands out to you?!
