The Washington Mystics (3-4) started the season with two wins, but since have been 1-4. Now they play the much-hyped Indiana Fever on the road on a prime-time Tuesday night slot on NBA TV. Here’s the preview:

The Washington Mystics and the Indiana Fever are clearly going to battle for positioning this year.
The Mystics are 3-4, while the Fever 2-4. For some reason, the prediction machines give D.C. only about 1-in-4 chance of winning this one. I dare disagree, especially with Clark sidelined for this one.
What is more, the Mystics just handed the Fever a loss a couple nights ago 83—77.
Sykes is the Mystics leading scorer, with over 20 points a contest, but very inefficiently at 34 percent from the field. She only contributes over 4 assists. Clark (who as I wrote is not playing) is at 19 point (at 40 percent) and 9 assists.
