The Mystics are also looking to finish their road trip with two wins in the west coast.

The Washington Mystics play the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night. Here is the preview.

Game info

When: Tuesday July 15 at 10 p.m. ET

Where: Crypto.com Arena

How to watch: Monumental Sports Network

Injuries: For the Mystics, Georgia Amoore is out due to her knee injury. For the Sparks, Cameron Brink is out due to a knee injury.

What to watch for

The Mystics will complete a two game west coast road trip which started with a win against the Seattle Storm on Sunday night. Washington also has a three game win streak, currently the longest in the WNBA.

Sure, I get that three wins isn’t much, but it’s good to see that the Mystics aren’t taking their foot off the gas when the All-Star Break is on the horizon. This game is their last before that break. In addition, the Mystics are 11-10, which is not bad at all considering their reliance on rookie talent (Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen) and veteran leadership (Brittney Sykes, Shakira Austin).

As for the Sparks, the Mystics will play them in an effective home and home. They play LA tomorrow, and again next Tuesday, July 22 at home for their first game after the break. The Sparks are 7-14, just 11th in the WNBA standings. LA is coming off a 92-88 win last night at home against the Connecticut Sun, the league’s worst team this season.

Washington will be the favorites tomorrow, but let’s hope that the squad won’t get complacent in a game right before a long break.
