To be gentle, the Mystics season hasn’t quite started on the right foot, with two losses in the preseason and two losses the season. In their third game, the Mystics meet another team that has underachieved so far, the Seattle Storm. The Storm have also lost their first two games.

A bright point: Karlie Samuelson had a standout performance last game against the Sun, with 18 points in just 8 shots, knocking down 4-of-5 from deep. Unfortunately, her teammates combined for 5-for-17 from deep. More importantly, the Mystics had 20 (!) turnovers compared to just 10 by the Sun. Ariel Atkins had 6 of her own to go along with 0-from-5 from deep.
