- This game is a clash between two teams who have been trapped in my NBA Cellar Dwellers column over the past two seasons. You will certainly be hearing more about them in Friday’s column.
- The Hornets have lost 10 of their last 11 games. The Wizards, meanwhile, have lost 19 of their last 20. That’s a combined record of 2-29.
- The Wizards have a number of veterans trying out for the trade deadline, such as Malcolm Brogdon, Kyle Kuzma and Jonas Valanciunas. A team like Charlotte is a good one to put up numbers against.
