Game Notes and More
- This is the Wizards’ chance to stop the bleeding. They’ve lost 14 straight games and should probably be starting to sweat a little bit about finishing the season with the worst record in the NBA history.
- The Raptors may be a putrid 14-32, but not so fast — the Raptors have won six of their last seven games, including four straight victories. Surely they won’t be losing to the 6-39 Wizards.
- The Wizards are coming off utter decimation at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks. The 130-108 score is misleading, as the Wizards were down by almost 40 points before the halftime buzzer had even sounded. The Raptors, meanwhile, are coming off of a win against the Pelicans, two wins against the Hawks and a win over the Magic. Three of the four wins were by nine or more points.
