Washington looks to stay undefeated in the NBA Summer League.
The Washington Wizards play the Houston Rockets on Sunday in NBA Summer League. Here is the preview.
Game info
When: Sunday, July 14 at about 6 p.m. ET.
Where: Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas
How to watch: Monumental Sports Network or ESPN2
What to watch for
The Wizards are 1-0 and came back from an early deficit to win against the Atlanta Hawks in their first Summer League game. Alex Sarr and Bub Carrington scored double digits in their debuts. Sarr also made 2-of-5 of his three point shots. And Johnny Davis also added 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting.
The Rockets are led by Reed Sheppard, the No. 3 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and sophomore forward Cam Whitmore, who averaged 12.3 points in the 2023-24 NBA season. The Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers last Thursday in their Summer League debut.
This should be another big game since Sarr and Sheppard are two of the Top 3 picks in the NBA Draft, and it should be another one of the most talked about games in Vegas.
Go Wizards.
