Pregame Notes
Well a reunion between Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards won’t be happening in the first meeting. Beal sustained an ankle injury in the loss to the New York Knicks on Friday, December 15 and its reported he will be out for a few weeks. Washington will have to wait until the Suns come to D.C. on February 4.
Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal is likely to miss a few weeks with his right ankle injury, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Good news for Beal is testing showed no major ankle damage, but it’s another setback for Beal after the scary landing on a Knicks closeout Friday night. pic.twitter.com/a7Z8MA71Ue

The Wizards are coming off a 137-123 home win over the Indiana Pacers, shockingly, who have been on a high since making the finals of the In-Season Tournament. The Suns, as mentioned before, lost to the Knicks in their last game.
It’s good to see Bilal Coulibaly getting into his groove and evolving off the bench. In the win over Indiana, he had 17 points and five rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting along with two steals and one block. Hopefully his defense will be even more useful against the Suns who have some heavy shooters in Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
