
The veteran Mystics guard is probably going elsewhere.
The 2025 WNBA Free Agency period is here! And that means that we will soon be tracking which players will be signing with the Washington Mystics, who will get traded to another team and which players will be leaving. Unfortunately, we are learning that one veteran player is likely packing her bags for a new team.
According to Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post, guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough is expected to sign with another WNBA team in the coming days.

Sounds like Shatori Walker-Kimbrough’s time in Washington may be coming to an end. She’s meeting w teams while playing in Poland, per source. There’s been contact w Mystics, but talks weren’t fruitful.

In Copeland’s X post, while Walker-Kimbrough did negotiate with the Mystics, the “talks weren’t fruitful.” Therefore, there isn’t much to be said about what she will do in the 2025 WNBA season. Walker-Kimbrough, who averaged 7.5 points in the 2024 season, will likely play for another WNBA team.
