The Washington Mystics have now lost their first player outside of the Expansion Draft last month.
On Tuesday, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post wrote that long-time Washington Mystics guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough will sign a one-year contract with the Atlanta Dream.
League source: Shatori Walker-Kimbrough intends to sign a 1-year deal with the Atlanta Dream once players can officially sign on Saturday.

The news is not a surprise, considering that Copeland reported that Walker-Kimbrough talked to the Mystics during free agency but didn’t make much progress with them in negotiations.
Walker-Kimbrough is the first Mystics player to leave in free agency. She is the second player overall to leave, after Julie Vanloo was selected by the Golden State Valkyries in the expansion draft last December.
