Risacher is the last of the consensus top-5 picks to workout for Washington. He is also projected to be the No. 1 pick in many drafts.
The Washington Wizards have scheduled a pre-draft private workout with projected No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, per ESPN.
Risacher stands 6-foot-9 with a solid outside shooting touch. The French forward is a high-upside prospect at just 19 years old, likely years away from reaching his potential. Washington would be betting on his upside if they select him at No. 2.
Risacher has been heavily linked to the Hawks during the pre-draft process, completing a private workout in Atlanta last week. He’s scheduled to visit San Antonio for a workout prior to his arrival in D.C.
Through 32 games in LNB Pro A with JL Bourg, Risacher averaged 10.1 points and 3.8 rebounds on 35.2% 3pt.
If Atlanta opts for Alex Sarr or Donovan Clingan at No. 1, Risacher is firmly in play for Washington at No. 2.
