Richmond’s coach, the legendary Rick Pitino, confirmed that his contract is a two-way deal:
Congrats to Kadary and RJ on signing two way deals. Both are terrific young men with a great future.

Richmond shot just 17.5% from 3-point range and 53.5% from the free-throw line last season. While he comes equipped with impressive vision and rebounding for his size, Richmond will have to improve his shooting touch to secure a spot on Washington’s opening night roster.
Expect Richmond to join Washington for Summer League and training camp.
