The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to acquire Kelly Olynyk from the Washington Wizards for Malaki Branham, Blake Wesley and a 2026 second-round pick. The Wizards will receive the least favorable second rounder between the Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Olynyk will give the Spurs a stretch big man after also signing Luke Korent this offseason. Olynyk shot 41.8 percent on three-pointers last season across 44 games with the Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans.
The Wizards acquired Olynyk as part of the Jordan Poole for CJ McCollum trade with the Pelicans.
Olynyk, who is represented by Jeff Schwartz, will be an unrestricted free agent in 2026.
