The Washington Wizards finished 14th in the Eastern Conference in the 2023-24 NBA season. And though it shouldn’t be a surprise to any of you that the Wizards are once again projected to be a bottom tier Eastern Conference team in the 2024-25 NBA season, some of you may wonder if the Wizards are projected to be the absolute worst team in the East, if not the NBA.
Well I have … some comforting news. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Wizards are projected to finish 13.5th (-150 over/+125 under) for the 2024-25 NBA season. In plain English, the bookies are betting that the Wizards will be 14th again this season. The team that’s projected to finish the worst (or 14.5th) is the Brooklyn Nets. The Boston Celtics are projected to finish first (or 1.5th place).
Of course, I just want to let you know that these numbers should all be taken with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, all games are meant to played on the court.
