The Washington Wizards are signing big man Tristan Vukcevic to a three-year, $9 million contract. Vukcevic has been with the Wizards on a two-way contract this season.
The 7-foot big man has been with Washington for parts of the last three seasons. Vukcevic was originally drafted by the Wizards in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft, and joined the team late in the 2023-24 season. He then played last season on a two-way deal, before re-signing on another two-way contract for this season.
In 35 NBA games this year, Vukcevic has averaged 7.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game. The center/forward has shot 47.8% from the field for the season.
