
The former Washington Wizards head coach will be on Billy Donovan’s staff.
On Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Washington Wizards front office advisor Wes Unseld, Jr. will join the Chicago Bulls as the lead assistant coach on Billy Donovan’s staff.

Before his front office role, Unseld was the Wizards’ head coach from the 2021-22 NBA season through midway in the 2023-24 season. The Wizards did not make the postseason during his time as head coach. Unseld also had a long career as an assistant coach with several teams, including the Wizards in the 2000s.
