The Washington Wizards are believed to be “eager” to trade Kyle Kuzma ahead of the February 6th trade deadline. The Wizards could have traded Kuzma to the Dallas Mavericks at last season’s deadline, but he preferred to remain with the franchise. The Wizards are considered unlikely to repeat the same tactic.
Kuzma, who is represented by Austin Brown, is signed through the 26-27 season on a four-year, $90 million deal that descends annually and drops to $19.4 million as an expiring.
Kuzma is averaging 15.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27.5 minutes over 12 games in his 29-year-old season.
