Coulibaly is expected to make $9.2 million in the 2025-26 NBA season.
On Tuesday, the Washington Wizards announced that they have exercised guard Bilal Coulibaly’s third year option. Coulibaly is averaging 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game in the 2024-25 NBA season so far.
This news is just standard operating procedure for most first round picks who are on their rookie scale contracts. It would be news if the Wizards decided NOT to exercise Coulibaly’s option. I fully expect Coulibaly to have his fourth year team option granted as well.
