The Wizards will also get second round picks.
The Washington Wizards selected Walter Clayton, Jr. No. 18 overall on Wednesday in the 2025 NBA Draft from the University of Florida.
In his senior season in 2024-25, Clayton led the Gators to the NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship and was the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. That said, Clayton will be a Wizards player in name only.
According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Wizards will trade Clayton to the Utah Jazz for the No. 21 pick.
