The corresponding move after waiving Ryan Rollins
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Washington Wizards have signed guard Hamidou Diallo to a 10-day contract.

Diallo was selected 45th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets and traded to the Thunder. He spent a couple years in OKC before being dealt to Detroit, where he played another two seasons.
The 6’5” shooting guard was signed to the Wizards G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, this past offseason and played well in his time there. In 15 games with the Go-Go this season, Diallo is averaging 18.5 points and 7.9 rebounds while shooting 50.2% from the field. The one downside with Diallo has always been his outside shooting, knocking down just 17.4% of his threes.
The former Kentucky Wildcat is a slasher, meaning he gets to the rim using his immense athletic ability. He used those hops to win the 2019 dunk contest, famously jumping over Shaq to secure the victory.
This move comes hours after the Wizards waived 21-year-old PG Ryan Rollins in a surprise move. It was expected that GM Will Dawkins would act quickly to fill the newly opened roster spot, and he did just that, bringing in another young guard who’s poised to see playing time post trade deadline.
