The Washington Mystics center leads the WNBA in three point percentage among players who have attempted at least 50 shots.
On Wednesday, the WNBA announced that Washington Mystics center Stefanie Dolson will participate in the 2024 WNBA three point shooting contest. It will be part of WNBA All-Star Friday night activities.
Dolson leads the WNBA in three point shooting percentage at 48.5 percent (49-of-101 shot attempts) among all players who attempted at least 50 three point shots this season. She will go against Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray, New York Liberty center Jonquel Jones, Connecticut Sun guard Marina Mabrey and Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride.
With Dolson participating in All-Star Weekend events, she is effectively Washington’s All-Star, though she won’t be playing in the main event. No Mystics are playing in the game, which is a Team USA vs WNBA format this season.
The three point shooting contest and other events (skills contest and 3X3) will be held at the Footprint Center in Phoenix on Friday at 9 p.m. ET. It will be televised on ESPN.
The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, July 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ABC.
