Daily Washington Capitals news and notes: the Caps made a flurry of moves as free agency kicked off today, including solidifying their goalie tandem and reportedly signing a Finn.

  • The first deal the team announced yesterday was big: the Washington Capitals signed former Avalanche goalie Darcy Kuemper to take the top spot in net.
