Orioles place Dubin on injured list, recall Ragsdale

The Orioles placed right-handed pitcher Shawn Dubin on the 15-day injured list retroactive to Saturday because of right elbow discomfort. It ends Dubin’s season. Right-handed pitcher Carson Ragsdale was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk. Dubin had a 3.38 ERA in seven games for the Orioles since he was claimed off waivers from Houston on August 26th.
