Henry Coleman isn’t ready to announce his commitment just yet, but the four-star power forward is about to take the next step in his recruitment process.
Coleman is listed as the No. 39 overall recruit and No. 6 power forward in his class, per 247Sports. Over 20 schools have made offers to him thus far.
Despite receiving plenty of offers, Coleman is focused on just a handful of programs. In fact, he plans on cutting his list of suitors down to five within the next few weeks.
The programs that seem to be pushing the most for Coleman are Duke, Michigan, Florida State, Georgetown, Virginia Tech and NC State.
Although the Blue Devils aren’t safely in his top five, Coleman did speak highly of them when talking to Jacob Polacheck of Zagsblog.
From Zagsblog:
“They really like my game. They like that I can come in and be a force, playing the three and the four positions. They like how I am off the court also.”
Duke is currently the favorite to land Coleman, according to 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions. All six predictions logged have him becoming a Blue Devil.
Mike Krzyzewski already has a pair of five-star commits for his 2020 recruiting class in Jalen Johnson and Jeremy Roach.
It’s possible that Duke lands another potential-packed recruit in the near future.
