Georgetown has landed St. John’s transfer Vince Iwuchukwu, a source told ZAGSBLOG.
The 7-foot-1 big man will face his old team at least twice next season in Big East play after averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds on Rick Pitino’s club.
The Red Storm added Providence transfer Bryce Hopkins to pair with returning big man Zuby Ejiofor in the frontcourt.
Iwuchukwu joins transfers KJ Lewis (Arizona), Langston Love (Baylor) Deshawn Harris-Smith (Maryland) and Isaiah Ibraham (UConn) for Ed Cooley’s squad.
Another former St. John’s big man, Khaman Maker, also transferred within the Big East to DePaul.
