United Negro College Fund’s Masked Ball is a fundraising and social event focusing on raising awareness of the need and benefits of a college education, the students the nonprofit serves and the contributions of historically black colleges and universities.
The ball, held at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor, is an evening of celebration attended by business and civic leaders, alumni, dignitaries, volunteers and friends of UNCF.
The event recognized corporations, organizations and leaders with the M.A.S.K.E.D. (Mankind Assisting Students Kindling Educational Dreams) Award – honored them for investing in better futures through their personal and professional actions and influence, according to the UNCF website.
