COVID-affected seasons left University of Maryland athletics with $21 million shortfall, records show

Program revenues at the University of Maryland tumbled from $92.3 million in the 2020 fiscal year to $60.9 million in the year ending last June 30, a 34% drop, according to a recent financial report to the NCAA obtained by The Baltimore Sun.
