Maryland basketball breaks ground on ‘transformational’ practice facility

Maryland basketball coaches heralded a new day Thursday when they helped break ground on the $52 million Barry P. Gossett Basketball Performance Center, a facility they say will boost recruiting and improve day-to-day life for their teams.
