Kaltenberger started all 12 games for the Terps in 2024.
Maryland football center Josh Kaltenberger signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent Sunday.
Kaltenberger was a mainstay on the Terps’ offensive line this past season, blocking for the third-best passing offense in the Big Ten. He also blocked for the team’s best rushing performance since 2020 against UConn in August. Kaltenberger participated in Maryland’s Pro Day prior to the 2025 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-6, 308-pound lineman began his career at Purdue, where he played in 36 games for the Boilermakers from 2021-23.
Kaltenberger was rated a three-star prospect coming out of high school by 247Sports. He was the second Terp to sign with a team as an undrafted free agent.
