Maryland football player Marcus Fleming Jr. charged with misdemeanor second-degree assault

According to court documents obtained by The Baltimore Sun, Maryland football wide receiver Marcus Fleming Jr. was charged on June 8 after a June 3 incident with his ex-girlfriend Ariana Wright, a student-athlete at the university who is also facing charges.
