The signings officially round out the Terps’ 15-man roster.
Maryland men’s basketball officially announced the final five additions to its 2025-26 roster Friday.
Three freshman and two transfers round out head coach Buzz Williams’ first squad in College Park. Unranked recruits Jaziah Harper and Nick Blake, alongside four-star forward Aleks Alston, make up the freshman group. Northeastern transfer center Collin Metcalf and Kansas transfer guard Rakease Passmore join the Terps with college experience under their belts.
Friday’s announcement marks the official end of a turbulent rebuild for Maryland. The team that made it to the Sweet 16 less than three months ago is gone; head coach Kevin Willard, athletic director Damon Evans and every member of last season’s Terps roster are no longer in College Park.
Now Williams is tasked with orchestrating his new-look roster into a formidable Big Ten foe.
