This is a Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Maryland football wide receiver Tai Felton accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl, it was announced Sunday. This all but confirms Felton plans to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, an expected outcome.

The senior wide receiver’s record-breaking season was the biggest silver lining for the Terps in an otherwise disappointing season. He recorded 96 catches for 1,124 yards — both the best marks in the Big Ten — to go with nine touchdowns. He set the Maryland single-season receptions record and was second in single-season receiving yards and touchdowns in program history.

Felton is currently the No. 118-overall player and No. 16 receiver on Pro Football Focus’ 2025 NFL Draft big board. If that held true at the Draft, Felton would be a mid 4th-round pick.

Felton is the first Terp to announce he’ll take part in the Senior Bowl this season. Offensive lineman D.J. Glaze and safety Beau Brade took part in it last year — both are currently on NFL rosters.
