Maryland wrestling finished the Big Ten Championships with program records in points, team place and individual placers.
The Terps garnered 54.0 team points, good for eighth place and the highest finish by the program since joining the Big Ten. In addition, six wrestlers earned top-eight finishes and qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships.
Jaxon Smith finished in fourth place, while Braxton Brown placed fifth, his best career finish. The last time Maryland had more than six NCAA qualifiers was during the 2011-12 season, when the Terps had seven.

Maryland earns the No. 2 seed in the upcoming TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis. The Terps will open postseason play on Friday, March 14 in the quarterfinals with a 6:30 PM tip on BTN.
