Former Maryland women’s soccer goalie Liz Beardsley signed a professional contract with the Houston Dash of the Nation Women’s Soccer League, it was announced Tuesday.

During her two years at Maryland, Beardsley played and started in 37 matches, making 141 saves, which ranks 10th in program history. Beardsley set a career-high with 74 saves last year and recorded five shutouts.
The Dash open their 2025 season Friday against the Washington Spirit.
