No. 1 Maryland men’s lacrosse attackman Eric Spanos was added to the Tewaaraton Watch List, the organization announced Thursday. He joins teammates Logan McNaney and Braden Erksa on the list.
Spanos has recorded 10 goals, five assists and 15 points, tied for most on the team, this season. A 2024 All-American honorable mention, Spanos was been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week three out of five weeks this year.
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the country. Five finalists will be announced in early May and the winner will be selected after the season.
