Edmondson scored six goals during Maryland’s two games last week against Rutgers and then-No. 8 Johns Hopkins. She recorded a hat trick in each of those games en route to Maryland’s 11th and 12th wins of the season.
At 12-4, Maryland earned the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. Edmondson posted 43 goals and nine assists in the regular season, leading the Terps in both goals and points (52).
The Terps will host the conference tournament that starts Wednesday, when the Terps face No. 7-seed Rutgers, which they beat, 8-7, last week in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Maryland women’s lacrosse stayed put at No. 7 in this week’s Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association poll.
After defeating then-No. 8 Johns Hopkins last week, Maryland women’s lacrosse remains at No. 7 in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association. The Terps enter the Big Ten Tournament with the No. 2-seed and on a three-game winning streak.
