Starlings stands 6-foot-4, 320 pounds and transfers in from North Carolina. He’s the only member of the weekend transfer quartet from an FBS school. Starlings appeared in three games as a redshirt freshman in 2024, recording one tackle.
Smith transfers in as a redshirt sophomore, having spent one season at South Carolina State and one at Alabama A&M. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman was a rotational piece for Alabama A&M last season, totaling 20 tackles and two sacks across 11 games.
Scott is a physical specimen at receiver, at 6-foot-7 and 224 pounds. A junior college transfer from Southwest Mississippi Community College, Scott first committed to Arizona State in November before decommitting, enrolling at Florida State in January and entering the portal in April. He recorded 20 catches for 358 yards and four touchdowns in 2024, according to Inside the Black and Gold.
Edwards, a junior, played two seasons at Division II North Greenville before committing to Austin Peay in January and decommitting in April. The 6-foot, 180-pound safety recorded 29 tackles and six pass breakups in 2024.
