Brayden Marko, a 6-foot-6 tight end from Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C., committed to Maryland football Saturday via X.

The 240-pound rising senior was named to the All-WCAC first team last season. He is an unrated recruit, according to 247Sports Composite.
As a Maryland native, Marko was already “super big on Maryland,” according to his interview with 247Sports. After making multiple spring visits, Marko made his decision to become a Terp, saying that “nothing could really compare” to their offer.
“[Getting the offer] was everything I’ve dreamed of after always watching Maryland on TV,” Marko said.

Maryland wrestler Jaxon Smith came in second place among 86kg athletes at the U23 Nationals.
