Booth spent last season with Boise State as its assistant director of sports performance and will assume a similar position at Maryland.
Before Boise State, Booth was the assistant strength coach and a graduate assistant at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2022 and 2023.
Booth played football at Division II Limestone from 2017 to 2020, . He was originally a linebacker and transitioned to tight end in 2019.
Booth becomes Maryland’s third assistant strength coach, alongside Chandler Wachholtz and Nick Tulloch. He will serve under associate strength Jason Wooding and director of strength and conditioning Ryan Davis.
