
This is a Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.
Maryland basketball is slated to face off against both UNLV and Gonzaga in the 2025 Players Era Tournament this upcoming season, according to a release Tuesday by the team.
The Terps will battle UNLV on Nov. 24 at 12 a.m. and the Bulldogs on Nov. 25 at 9:30 p.m. Maryland has not faced off against UNLV sine 1986 and Gonzaga since 2008.
The Players Era Tournament will feature other notable NCAA Division I programs, including Kansas, Houston, Alabama and Tennessee, among others. If the Terps advance to championship matchup games, they will play on Nov. 26 and Nov. 27.
