Georgia State transfer tight end Dorian Fleming, an incoming junior, was the Terps’ only representation on any team on the offensive side of the ball. Junior linebacker Daniel Wingate and senior defensive back Jalen Huskey earned nods on the defensive team.
Fleming is expected to immediately fill a big role in Maryland’s offense, with both primary tight end contributors from a season ago — Dylan Wade and Preston Howard — departing via the transfer portal. Huskey will be returning to College Park as a newfound leader in the secondary, and Wingate will occupy a leadership role in the front seven with Ruben Hyppolite II gone.
