Celebrate the contributions of the sexual and gender minorities at Baltimore Pride this weekend. Mount Vernon Pride takes place Friday at the 200 block of W. Read St. from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Twilight on the Terrace, the gala event at Gertrude’s at 10 Art House Drive is Friday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets for Twilight on the Terrace cost $150. The Black & Blue Ball — After Party is Friday at Club 1722, 1722 N. Ongoing: ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’

A teenager dreams of becoming a professional drag queen in the Iron Crow Theatre production of “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie,” at the Baltimore Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St. The play is based on the real story of schoolboy Jamie Campbell. With the help of his mum and friends, Jamie overcomes bullying and prejudice to make his dream come true. Ongoing: Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore

Take part in a nearly a century-old naval tradition at Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore presented by Northrop Grumman at several locations. United States Navy, Coast Guard and Army Corps of Engineers will dock ships at the Inner Harbor West Wall and Piers 1-5, North Locus Point Marine Terminal Pier 4 and Fells Point Broadway Pier. One of those vessels will be the USS Marinette, the 13th Freedom Class littoral combat ship.
