Okanawa transferred to Maryland after attending Duke. The guard was the 2025 ACC Tournament MVP and the 2024 ACC Sixth Player of the Year.
She discussed her commitment to Maryland and broke down the role she expects.
“Brenda recruited me super hard,” she said. “That was the biggest impression I got and the biggest — ‘Ok, she’s serious.’”
The hosts also discussed the recent results for the Maryland lacrosse teams in the NCAA tournament and broke down Maryland baseball’s crucial series against Rutgers.
