A man died after being shot in East Baltimore Saturday afternoon, according to Baltimore Police.
Per a statement from the department, officers responded to the 700 block of N. Patterson Park Avenue around 5:30 p.m. to investigate a reported shooting. When they arrived, officers found a 55-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound and rendered aid.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and was later pronounced dead.
