The Baltimore County Fire Department deployed crews to extinguish a 2-acre brush fire in White Hall Thursday afternoon, the area’s second brush fire in as many days.
The fire began on the 3000 block of Anderson Road, the fire department posted on X. As of 5:39 p.m., crews were still working to put the fire out, according to the department. About an hour later, the fire was mostly extinguished, the department said. No injuries were reported.

A 6-acre Hunt Valley brush fire broke out Wednesday. The majority of the state is in a drought, with Baltimore County experiencing severe drought conditions, which can make fires more likely.
