Baltimore Ravens 56-19 blowout of Miami Dolphins makes Scorigami history

The Ravens accomplished another rare feat with their resounding win.

The Baltimore Ravens checked several boxes and accomplished multiple goals on Sunday with their 56-19 victory over the Miami Dolphins. For the first time since 2019, they not only won the AFC North division and clinched the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, they scored the most points in the history of M&T Bank Stadium.

Even more unique than those rare feats, today’s game was the 1,084th different scoring combination in NFL history:

That’s Scorigami!! It’s the 1084th unique final score in NFL history.

The catalyst for the Ravens’ success was none other than two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Lamar Jackson who put a stamp on what many believed was already an ironclad case to secure his second-career MVP honor. He finished 18-of-21 for 321 passing yards, five touchdowns, no turnovers, and a perfect passer rating of 158.3.

However, the credit for putting the finishing touches on the Scorigami belongs to backup quarterback Tyler Huntley, backup tight end Charlie Kolar, and Hall of Fame kicker Justin Tucker. On the Ravens’ second-to-last offensive drive, Huntley completed his lone pass attempt for 19 yards to Kolar for his lone reception and the first touchdown of his career that was followed up by an extra point attempt by Tucker.

Fourth-year safety Geno Stone deserves an honorable mention on the defensive end for his clutch pass breakup on the Dolphins’ two-point conversion attempt early in the fourth quarter. He prevented Miami tight end Julian Hill from coming down with a back-shoulder fade in the back of the end zone to ensure they couldn’t cut the Ravens’ lead to just 14 points.
