The Ravens and Bills kickoff time for the NFL playoffs has been released.

It’s a good thing that the Baltimore Ravens are built to brave and thrive in the elements, especially the cold because they will likely be playing in frigid temperatures in Orchard Park, New York, next Sunday night when they travel to play the Buffalo Bills in a primetime divisional round matchup. It will be the last game of this round of the playoffs to be played, will be broadcasted by CBS and is slated for a kickoff time of 6:30 p.m. EST.

The Ravens aim to return to the AFC championship game for the second year in a row with the hopes of finally reaching the Super Bowl for the first time in a dozen years. Meanwhile, the Bills are seeking their second conference title bout appearance in the last five years and first since the 2020 postseason for a chance to play in their franchise’s first Super Bowl since they lost their fourth in a row 30 years ago to end the 1993 season.

Both AFC divisional round games will feature regular season rematches in which one team soundly beat the other. In the case of the Bills and Ravens, reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson and star running back Derrick Henry ran Josh Allen and Co. out of Baltimore back in Week 4 in what was arguably their team’s most complete performance of the season in a 35-10 blowout. The Ravens racked up 427 yards of total offense with a whopping 271 coming on the ground alone while their defense limited Allen to one of his worst outings of the year and the Bills’ offense as a whole to a season-low 236 total yards.

Neither team is the same as the one that took the field at M&T Bank Stadium in late September and both are coming off commanding double-digit wins from Super Wildcard Weekend. The Ravens physically dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14 on Saturday and the Bills scored 31 unanswered points after giving up an opening drive touchdown in a blowout win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

The national media will want to make this game a declaration of who the rightful league MVP should be between Jackson and Allen. However, the most important goal is advancing to the next round the following Sunday. The winner will either hit the road to face the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs if they prevail on Saturday or host the Houston Texans if they somehow manage to pull off a second straight upset after being counted out to win in the Wildcard round.
