The Baltimore region is likely to experience rainy weather this weekend and through next week, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service.
Saturday is expecting a high near 79, and showers and thunderstorms are likely after 11 a.m. On Saturday night, temperatures are expected to fall to 64 with showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m.

The National Weather Service added a hazardous weather outlook for the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River and the Interstate 95 corridor through central Maryland on Saturday. Heavy rain in short periods could cause rapid rises to creeks and streams out of their banks, along with the potential for flash flooding in urban areas. Elsewhere, isolated instances of flash flooding are possible through Saturday evening.
Showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours are possible Sunday through Tuesday, with the potential for isolated instances of flooding and localized damaging wind gusts, according to the NWS.
On Sunday, there is a 60% chance of precipitation and a possible thunderstorm before 2 p.m. Temperatures are forecast to reach 72 during the day and then fall to a low of 64 with cloudy skies and the potential for rain continuing throughout the night.
The workweek ahead will start off with cloudy skies and a chance of showers throughout, and temperatures in the 80s and low 90s.
